Atlanta Braves host Zombie Night

The Atlanta Braves and Oakland Athletics played in front of an unusual crowd Friday night. The Braves turned Turner Field into something out of The Walking Dead with Zombie Night.

The night included makeup artists who turned fans into zombies, an on-field pre-game zombie walk, a meet and greet with famous zombie actors such as Travis Love (The Walking Dead), Sonya Thompson (The Walking Dead/Zombieland) and Larry Mainland (The Walking Dead/Goosebumps), Friday Night Fireworks, and a Braves zombie survival kit which included a mini bat, a Zombie Night t-shirt, and a draw string book bag.

Brett Hull about Pavel Datsyuk: “I remember we’d come to the bench and I would look like I’m mad and Pav would always look at me and go, ‘Brett, mad?’ and that was a lot of his first year what he would say and I would go, ‘No, I’m not mad.’” [x]

I decided to visit the Boston Public Gardens today, to see the bench from Good Will Hunting, so I could pay my respects to one of my idols. I wasn’t alone, as crowds of young and old stood near, bound together by sadness.

Rest in peace Robin.

This is fantastic.

This made me tear up.

Jimmy Fallon paying tribute to Robin Williams

We, like all of you were shaken up a bit last night when we learned that genius comedian and actor Robin Williams passed away. He was one in a kind. He was one in a million. He was unbelievable. If you don’t know his stand-up then you should YouTube it right now and watch it. He was amazing. He was funny and he was fast. He would weave in and out of characters and get Shakespearean. It was incredible.”

Jimmy then proceeded to do his best Robin impersonation, and concluded his tribute by standing on his desk and playing out a key scene in Dead Poets Society.

Oh captain, my captain, you will be missed.”
